Privacy Policy
Who We Are
Welcome to https://lifepluswild.com (the “Site”). We understand that privacy online is important to users of our Site, especially when conducting business. This statement governs our privacy policies for those users of our Site, including those who register as subscribers (“Subscribers”) of the Site and make use of the various services offered by life+wild (collectively, “Services”).
Personally Identifiable Information
Personally Identifiable Information refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains, including, but not limited to, name, phone number, and email address. Personally Identifiable Information does not include information collected anonymously (that is, without identification of the individual user) or demographic information not connected to an identified individual.
What Personally Identifiable Information Is Collected?
We collect basic user profile information from all of our Subscribers: names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and IP addresses. We collect names, email addresses, and phone numbers for non-subscribers who contact us through the website. We also store the personal information Subscribers provide in their user profiles. All Subscribers can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If a Subscriber requests a password reset, we will include their IP address in the reset email.
Comments and Testimonials
When Subscribers leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and the user’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. The comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue. An automated spam detection service may check comments.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If users upload images to the website, they should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
What Organizations Are Collecting the Information?
In addition to our direct collection of information, third-party service vendors may collect information from our users. See our Cookies page for more information.
How Does the Site Use Personally Identifiable Information?
We use Personally Identifiable Information to customize the Site, make appropriate service offerings, and fulfill buying and selling requests. We may email Subscribers about research or purchase and selling opportunities on the Site or information related to the Site’s subject matter. We may also use Personally Identifiable Information to contact users in response to specific inquiries or provide requested information.
Who Do We Share the Information with?
Personally Identifiable Information about Subscribers is not shared with anyone at this time. We may share aggregated information about our users, including the demographics of our Subscribers, with affiliated agencies and third-party vendors. We also offer the opportunity to “opt-out” of receiving information or being contacted by us.
How is Personally Identifiable Information Stored?
Personally Identifiable Information collected by life+wild is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties or employees of life+wild except for use as indicated above.
What Choices are Available to Visitors Regarding the Collection, Usage, and Distribution of the Information?
Users may opt out of receiving unsolicited information from or being contacted by us and/or our vendors and affiliated agencies by responding to emails as instructed or by contacting us at admin@lifepluswild.com.
Cookies
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a user’s computer and that the user’s browser provides to the website each time the user returns.
How are Cookies Used on the Site?
Cookies are used for a variety of reasons. We use Cookies to personalize the user experience and minimize repetitive data entry. Only Subscribers can leave comments on our Site, and when they do, we store their name and email address as Cookies, so they do not need to fill their details in again for future comments. We also use Cookies for security purposes to protect our Subscribers. For example, if a Subscriber is logged on and the site is unused for a certain length of time, we may automatically log them off.
Users who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using https://lifepluswild.com, with the drawback that certain website features may not function properly without the aid of Cookies.
Cookies Used by our Service Providers
Our service providers use Cookies that may be stored on your computer when you visit our website. You can find more details about which Cookies are used on our Cookies page.
How Does life+wild Use Login Information?
life+wild uses login information, including, but not limited to, IP addresses, ISPs, and browser types, to analyze trends, administer the Site, track a user’s movement and use, and gather broad demographic information.
What Partners or Service Providers Have Access to Personally Identifiable Information from Users on the Site?
life+wild does not currently disclose any Personally Identifiable Information to 3rd party vendors. However, we will disclose Personally Identifiable Information to comply with a court order or subpoena or a request from a law enforcement agency to release information. We will also disclose Personally Identifiable Information when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of our users.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles on our Site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the user has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about users, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor their interaction with that embedded content, including tracking their interaction with the embedded content.
How Does the Site Keep Personally Identifiable Information Secure?
All of our employees are familiar with our security policy and practices. The Personally Identifiable Information of our Subscribers is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given a password to gain access to the information. We audit our security systems and processes regularly. While we take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure site, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering, and break-ins. We cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not occur, and we will not be liable for any such occurrences.
How Can Visitors Correct Inaccuracies in Personally Identifiable Information?
Users may contact us to update Personally Identifiable Information about them or correct any inaccuracies by emailing us at admin@lifepluswild.com.
Can a Visitor View, Deactivate, or Delete Personally Identifiable Information Collected by the Site?
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us, by emailing us at admin@lifepluswild.com. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a Visitor’s entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted. We will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.

However, if we are changing our privacy policy in a manner that might cause disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information that a user has previously requested not be disclosed, we will contact the user to allow them to prevent such disclosure.
